Need Some Help

I just want to know how long it takes to actually get training (reserve) from the day you drop your application off.
Also, is it possible to drop off an application a month before you turn age? (16)
My first choice would be a MP, but the recruiter told me that to get into the MP Platoon you have to have your application in by July,
I turn 16 in August (Stupid summer b-days...)
If either of these questions have been asked before, Oh well  ;D

yes all these questions have been asked and answered before, many many times, so before asking about something, do some research.
as for the timings on how long it takes to get in, its always different, there are no set timings, could be few weeks could be few years.
as for the age, dropping off your application before you 16 shouldn't be a problem at all, I am sure by the time anyone actually processes your application you'll be 18.
