    Individual Learning Plans (ILP) [Merged]

Does anyone here know how to go about submitting your education reimbursement yourself?  (without using the OR)  From what I understand, when the ILP goes through (which it had) and the appropriate ID numbers are provided, the transcript, payment record, and receipts are off to Kingston to be...

    My own little story

I think you should speak to the medics before running around sorting this and that out with your eyes.  I know you're hyped about getting in, but it's often a slow process and leaves you with time to spare.  Do you know what trade you're applying for yet?  If so, or if when you decide, it...

    Good News!

Congratulations.  I think it's good that you mentioned your inhaler even though it brought on trouble.  It just goes to show a degree of honesty; divulging something that could potentially smite your dreams.  I'm glad it all worked out for you.

    The question of deployment

I took a few days to go talk to my parents and start the "adjustment" process ...  They're getting used to the idea of deployment (as much as a few days can accomplish) but not Afghanistan.  I'm taking your advise an gathering information to provide them with to ease the stress.  Long journey...

    The question of deployment

RHFC_piper, Yeah, I see what you're saying.  I'm not taking any of this lightly and am taking everything you've said to heart (as I said already), so you know.  It's good advise.  I don't know how I'll take 6 months.  I guess no one knows until they do it.  Here, I don't work 9-5.  I work...

    The question of deployment

I'm not sure what you mean by that.  Ignorance as in not wishing to know what's going on back home or ignorance of something else?

    The question of deployment

As cold-hearted as it sounds, I don't think about my family, my friends, my cat, etc when I'm at work.  Be it at my civilian job, during training or at a parade night.  I am 100% switched on. I appreciate your honesty in your reply.  Your advise is something I will take to heart.

    Moss Park (Toronto) BMQ

I did the Moss Park BMQ a year ago.  It wasn't bad and the commute was alright after everyone got to know eachother's locations and figured out a car-pool/buddy system.  When I started my BMQ I was not yet enrolled on SQ but became so only in the last days of my BMQ, thanks to my unit.  All of...

    The question of deployment

Greetings all.  I have posted my personal story about getting sworn in a year ago and after re-reading it, I would like to update and share some more (that sounds cheesy).  I've been in the reserves for a year now and although there are challenges and ups and downs, I love it.  I knew I...

    Dental coverage question

Does anyone know if the dental coverage applies to common-law spouses of Reserves personnel?

    Paid Education [Merged]

Nah, the OR was the first place I tried.  After getting nowhere I tried the logical approach and asked here.

    Paid Education [Merged]

I'm not sure what this form is called, it's for post-secondary study reimbursement for the reserves.  The program allows reservists to receive up to $2,000 per year of study.  Any help would be appreciated.

What is this "typewriter" you speak of?  Is it an iPod accessory or does it plug into my cell?
