Weapons issue

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what personnel get issued service weapons and in what circumstances/under what conditions. Personal curiosity. Not some trigger happy jtf2sniperwannabe.

You get them on requirement only (usually exercises, training and operations) and everyone in the CF can carry them, with the exception being Padres.
