Polishing Boots

what is the best way to polish a new set of DEU boots.

im used to just smearing the polish and brushing it off.

ive heard of ways ranging from spit polishing to nuking your boots! :blotto:

whats works for you!

ARGH!!! I posted a long and good post with directions and everything, but something happened and it all got deleted. I'll try and tipe it all up again another day when I have more energy.
