Anyone know a good online dealer? Searched a lot, looking through Ebay, but I was hoping that someone could point me in the direction of a trusted seller. No items in particular, but I'm thinking of starting a collection. So, if maybe someone could help me get started by directing me to a good site or something, let me know!

Sorry if this is the wrong section.

Thanks.

And yes, I have searched through these forums as well, but so far I have been unable to find what I'm looking for.

What are you looking for. there is alot of stuff on ebay?  So you must be looking for something specific?

Try some local surplus stores if you haven't decided what to collect, maybe you will see something you like. Otherwise can't help you if you don't even know what your looking for.

Here is one in Fredrickton. Peter is a little pricey, as he works on a consignment basis, how ever he is honest. I can vouch for that.

Don't let the name fool you, he has Allied as well as Axis, both WW1, WW2, and the ACW

My apologies, I should have been more specific, but in all honesty, I'm not really sure what I should start with... and as stupid as it may sound, I don't know exactly what I'm looking for. I guess pieces of uniform, newspapers, letters, weapon pieces, etc. Again, my apologies, and maybe I can get some tips since I'm just beginning? Also, I'm just wanting to start a collection of militaria, nothing specific, starting with WW2, Michael.

Thank you for all of your responses!

Knowledge is the collector's greatest asset, and there's a ton of information available on line from experienced researchers and collectors. The trick is to focus your questions and research to specific items, so that you don't have am overly general question brushed aside as being too broad to tackle, or having some generous collector write you a book in response only to find out you were really only interested in a few footnotes to chapter 14.
