I thought it might be interesting to hear some personal viewpoints from army.ca members on how the military has shaped the view of what it means to be Canadian both domestically and abroad.
Personally, I believe the yellow ribbon magnets I see attached to the back end of cars all over Toronto show just how deep the historical military undercurrents in this country run. Most of the people buying these ribbons wouldn't know a Major from a Sergeant Major, but they identify with CF members serving today.
