Name this movie

I am looking for the name of a pretty recent movie. I can reccall the details but not the name.

It was about some British officers who get called up for (I think it was) the Boer War. One, who was engaged to be married withdrawls and quits the military. He gets ‘chicken‘ feathers as a symbol of his cowardice. The last from his fiancee. He then goes on his own to prove himself or return the feathers to his friends that had given them to him. Does anyone know the movie I am talking about???
