I tried searching on google and here on army.ca but no luck thus far. I remember reading on army.ca back in 2011 when I was in Afghanistan about an attack happening on a US FOB because a soldier had put up pictures of their FOB on his Facebook account. The US soldiers had put up a significant amount of pictures, including entrance and exits and some of the force protection defence stores. A couple weeks after that the Taliban attacked that FOB with good success and it was believed it was due to those pictures.
I need the information for a research project, so I'm wondering if anyone has better research skills on army.ca than myself or has a better memory of the event and can remember the name of the FOB.
Thanks
