Interesting Vid on the ANA

I came across this video while just searching for combat footage.  I found it difficult to understand why the ANA were sitting there doing drugs.  But then again I guess when your main export is the stuff your bound to get hooked by it.  I feel for the brits in this video due to the lack of professionalism portrait by the ANA.

Do you think this is an isolated case or widespread in the ANA?

Im not to sure Dean22 I have not served in Afganistan.  I can only think that this is pretty wide spread.  Iv herd stories of other guys talking about how doped up the Talliban get when they attack so I think its pretty common.  Maybe some other guys can comment.

So the folks doing the mentoring over there have to contend with not just language and cultural barriers, but rampant illiteracy, and chemical dependence too? My hats off to anyone willing to take on that monumental task.
