Looking to buy a GPS watch, have my eye on a Garmin Fenix 2.  Refurbished ones (with 1 yr warranty) run around $200 with new being $300.

I'm not a watch/ GPS watch guy.  Is paying the extra $100 worth while to pick it up new or are refurbished ones good to go? I've never bought something refurbished before.

In my experience new is the way to go. I'd recommend picking one up at MEC. 15% military discount and never ending no hassle return policy. I bought a Suunto Vector. Pricy but worth it.

Hi i'm looking, i looked back to old subject, but didn't find what i was looking as a good answer for me.

So i'm looking to buy a GPS Watch, i'm not looking for the best one, but want to buy the best one for me at a fair price...

So i'm looking the be a GPS, so i can see the topography, i can make waypoints, track or a route in a software in a computer (like base camp with garmin),
it can give a map grid so i can find myself faster, it as a compass

Not necessary a Garmin i know them and they are expensive, but if they are good in what i'm looking for just tell me

thanx you guys (and gyrlz)
