does anybody have details on the coral jump ex running in chilliwack?

all i know is that us engineers are building some bridges.

EX QUARREL JUMP is an annual Res Engr Ex and is usually a res bridging/obs/dml ex. It depends on what has been scheduled. 6 FES or maybe 44 FES should know what is planned. I don't see any work prepping the brigdes or rafts for tpt from 1 EET yet.

26 â “ 31 Dec 04, EX QUARREL JUMP

December is Quarrel Jump month when 6 FES will put on a large, Western Area engineer Ex. The Ex will involve both MR and MGB and will be supported by the reg force by their HLVWs for loading the MR into both Cultus Lake and the Fraser. This Exercise is non-tactical and is being run in a round robin format. We will be sleeping in the RCMP Hotel in Chwk, and eating out of the RCMP Mess hall. Very comfortable surroundings for that time of year. We hope to see max participation from 6 FES Pers, as we are the lead organization from LFWA. The final day of the EX is 31 Dec 04, all pers should be on rte to home no later that 0930 hrs. So everyone will be home for New Years.

Fly at it troop! Go see the stmn and get a shovel. There is a good spot about 50 m south of the ASG compound, right by the tree line. It used to be known as Area 8 (RAWA). More specifically the old concrete pouring and compresser training area. The ground is a little hard but, hey, that's life right?  ;D

Good practice for Afghanistan.

If you are going you will be staying in the New Old CFOCS Quarters which are very nice.
The Mess Hall has solid Oak Tables and chairs or did do.$ ???,000,000's spent on that complex all for nout. .

All Eng. Units in LuffWaffa will be attending as stated.

The whole place is a gravel pit or what the hedumicated folk's call " A AlluvialPlain"
