Bad news is that the ploy they used last time is well known and they terrorists have probabley intiated counter measures.  The Russians don't mess around with this stuff and I can't see a good outcome for anyone unfortunately.

From the news I watched there is some conflicting reports but it doesn't appear that the army was ready as some terrorists got through the perimeter plus the a lot of confusion in the actual assault.

And some scumbags where caught by civillians, and hanged, etc.
The spookie thing for me was watching the Civilians going in with the Military guys, talk about a logistic nightmare.

Those poor kids.

I had it and it was in Russian, along with some sad pics, but I have it no more..I didn't want my wife finding it and being sickend.
Sorry.  If I find it again I'll PM it to you.

But for the record I think it was from this Russian site:

I asked some Russians on another board, and it was mentioned that it was Czech reporter of CT1 TV station claimed he was an eyewitness of one lynch.  My translator program doesn't do Czech, but I'm sure it is mentioned on their site.

Shooting them would be far too humane.  :rage:  Let the parents of the dead and wounded children have them.  >:D

I dunno, looks like they've got some pretty intimidating "guards"

Soldiers paraded a frightened captive begging for his life before TV cameras yesterday, as Russia began a period of official mourning for the hundreds of men, women and children killed in the Beslan school siege in North Ossetia.

The unidentified man, who was handcuffed, unshaven and dressed in a black shirt, was described as a member of the Chechen group that took more than 1000 people hostage. He was shown on State-run Channel One TV being guarded by masked commandos.

"This man directly took part in the attack, he is a member of the gang," said Deputy Prosecutor-General Sergei Fridinsky. "Tomorrow the court will sanction his arrest and he will be charged."

The man looked and spoke like a native of one of Russia's North Caucasus regions, which include Chechnya and neighbouring North Ossetia, where the siege occurred. His name and nationality have not been released. "I did not shoot. I swear by Allah I did not shoot," said the man, who looked scared. "I swear by Allah I want to live."

Yep, I'm sure the judges opening statement will go something like:

"Every one be seated and bailiff bring the guilty bastard in" ;)

I think mob justice can be far crueler then what the army would do.

And in an instance like this I would have no problem seeing it rule.

Where everything went to Crap, and why...

A different version.

I think what scares me the most is what the reaction from Putin will be...  THat boy doesn't seem to have a soft spot for anyone.  I think we should give them to him, and his old KGB buddies.  I'll bet they'll do far worse than even the mob will...
