I think your best bet is to head to your nearest recruiting center and speak with someone in the medical department before you fill out any papers.

I also feel that you should finish your degree.  You could join the reserves while you are in school to get experience (something I wish I did).  This experience will help you decide if you prefer Officer or NCM.  With the lack of hiring currently going on in the CF there is also no guarantee...

I was selected for Infantry Officer I was informed in late September/early October there probably were no more positions and then received "The Call" late last month.  Things must have changed.

They are recent for my situation.  I called around the 20th of September and was informed that there were no more positions for Infantry Officer available but be patient because things may change.  I guess they did.

Very excited and shocked.  I thought that I was going to have to wait another year!

I just got the call today and accepted a position for Infantry Officer.  It took over 3 years but I finally made it.  Look forward to meeting you folks on the course.
