I have a question. When you join the military do you get military Identification saying that you are a soldier and what regiment you are from etc.. Thanks for all help

My permanent ID says Reserve Officer.  No unit affiliation

No, your status is on there which will be either Regular Officer or Reserve Officer but I'm not too sure for NCMs nowadays. When I was in the reserves the status on my ID said Reserve Man. I think it's either Regular NCM or Reserve NCM now.

Not even your element is on there. The only way to tell whether you're Air Force, Army or Navy is the colour of your uniform in the picture.

your temp id, usually has the unit that issued it to you on it.

Status: REGULAR or RESERVE NCM
