AQ doesn't want peace so much as it wants controll, i mean if you want peace you fight for it, politically and forcefully and you do it out in the open. AQ is just scaring large amounts of people so they can gain controll, so they can dictate and determine the rights of others without asking...

Canadas a good target, because were so close to the states, but the enemy uses the media to inform their possible recurits of their activitys.. i think Canada is a good target, and we should start beefing up the CF....if anything Britain is gonna ask us to help them out, and i think we should...

i read some of the comments posted on that CBC site why do Canadians think that we're safe from this? didn't the terrorist threaten Canada to, so we didn't go to Iraq but we played a major role in Afghanistan. I've thought about it, and i think we are just as likely to be a target as anyone...

did any of you guys get any of the paper work in the mail?  like the CF leave request/ authorization or the application hand book they talk about in the joining instructions booklet? or are we gonna get all that stuff when we get to the recruiting centre?

yeah defiantly, i spent some time in the reserves while i wa in high school, and it was nothing but running in there as well, but that was part time, this is full time so what made you guys decide to join anyway?

i'm 20 as well and my mom and friends have me running rampant doing this and that....but i do push ups and try and keep active

thats rough, i didn't think a vet would do something like that, but who knows right? i mean he could of had some reason for it...maybe waring it for a fallen friend or something, but i doubt it as it didn't say it in the article... as for the Vietnam vets that are fakers, I'd call them...
