No, I never said my ONLY concern is money. That is a factor because of course, I need to be able to pay for myself, however that is certainly not the only reason I am looking to join the army.

The ONLY thing I don't like about NCM is that their pay doesn't seem that good. Otherwise, I would definitely go NCM.

Alright, thanks for all the info! I have one more question if you wouldn't mind answering: I'm planning on going to university and getting a computer science degree because that is what I'm interested in. Do you think that what I learn in Computer Science will benefit me as a Signals Officer?

Also, how can I guarantee that I'll be posted to a field unit?

The only problem I have with that is that I feel like then going to university is a waste of time and that NCM don't get paid as much as officers. What is your take on this?

Yeah, the turn-around time was what I was looking for, just couldn't remember the right word. So, after reading that thread it looks like I should wait for AT LEAST a month before I start to get worried.

Alright, so basically the only time I would need to go down to the RC is for a couple of the steps in the enlistment process like the CFAT, medical test, etc. and there is not really any point in going down otherwise, right?
