This is where the Conservatives introduce a series of motions regarding the carbon tax so that they can paint the NDP into a corner.

    Lawyers Allegedly Behaving Badly

It is the role of government to craft the law, and to prosecute those who are believed to have violated it. It is not the role of government to have any influence over those who represent the offenders. This action potentially allows the government to have a hand in both parts of the process.

    Medical review

You would likely go on a TCat while being assessed by an endocrinologist. If you were to maintain stable blood sugars with medication, the type of medication and risk of discontinuation would need to be considered. If you require insulin, you're likely G5O5, which only has one end point.

    Medical review

There are minimum medical categories for every trade, but there is a common enrolment standard. Applicants are required to meet whichever is higher.

    Medical review

Nobody here can or will give you a complete answer. That being said, what will happen is that you will have an enrolment medical at which you are required to disclose your prior medical history. If the person conducting your medical feels that there is a question that needs to be answered, they...

Personalities aside.... a good thing for the CAF?

The irony is that the Conservatives are ideologically closer to the Democrats than the current Liberals are.

    NDP Abandons Ship

This fails to recognize that at the end of the day, consumers will still pay. Any tax levied on producers will inevitably find its way to the consumer. Input costs assessed against a producer incite a corresponding rise in prices. It's great sport to believe that producers are making money hand...

Which U.S. College Major is the Worst for Finding a Job?

I was at a hockey game recently with one of our college presidents and we discussed this very point. Where colleges use market forces to help determine what programmes are on offer, universities apply no such lens. I would submit that any educational institute that takes public funding has an...

    NDP Abandons Ship

The Liberals stand to lose far more than the NDP in this scenario. Disaffected NPDers have few choices where blue Liberals have a completely different option.

I really want to apply to be a reserve once I receive my PR and need advice.

Nearly every province has some form of reserve service leave. Typically, this means that you must be allowed to undergo training or deploy on operations, and upon completion, be returned to the same, on equivalent role. There is also typically a requirement for you to expend vacation. Speaking...

Most days I'm so close to the coal face that I'm only missing the hammer an chisel. My experience is that average folks don't care about this stuff. They care about putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their heads. The current government has lost sight of this.

It will be interesting to see what happens after 1 Apr when the federal gas tax holiday ends, and the next increase to the carbon tax hits. Should be something on the order of 0.14 per litre overnight.

    Of Iron Laws....

I've made this point in the past: No bureaucrat is interested in solving the problem that would eliminate the need for their bureaucracy.

What can a CO make you pay for

What are they going to do, charge the whole course? I'm sure LEGAD would love that one. RM? DMCA and/or grievance analyst might have something harsh to say on that. Yep, wait them out. Needless to say, everyone needs to be on the same frequency.

A majority are concerned about the new federal budget increasing the country’s deficit to over 40 billion dollars

Canadians recognize the need to heat their houses, and don't all live in cities where you can ride the bus wearing shorts all year long.
