I think I said it all in my post. I don't want to start up a brand new Sqn, I would like to see an old one reformed that is not 450 Sqn. I just think that using an RAAF Sqn in present day doesn't make sense when we have several that have been stood down that have more of a connection with the...
Rumour has it that the new CH-147 Sqn will be 450 Sqn, which was a originally allocated to the Royal Australian Air Force in World War II. Canada received permission to adopt the number and the Squadron was formed at RCAF Station St. Hubert on 29 March 1968 (moved to CFB Ottawa in May 1970) and...
I confirm that "BONES" is alive with a hockey helmet and stick with the motto "2 for hooking". Another AC (147204) has been painted with a Jack the Ripper image and has the motto of " black jack". I can confirm these, as I am over in the Sand Box working on the Chinooks and Griffons as a Tech.
I have an Garmin eTrex and I love it! I bought it a few years ago to use on my Adv Tow Crse and it worked great! I was able to easily put in all my way points (AT Psn ;D) with no problems. Since I am not in the Infantry anymore, I use it go geocaching (http://www.geocaching.com/). I have even...
It is nice to see that others see and loath what I see!(Dress and Deoportment) We are suppose to be one Force (CF) and should have the same standards....but we do not! Now the Air Force wants to develop its own fitness standards! If we are all working to a common goal, why all the little...

...I wish I could Deploy.....I want to....if an ATR psn was open to go to the A'stan! Being a remuster, I have more then just my CD on when I do wear my DEUs, but the Air Force DEU is lacking in style!
Your right ......I might be getting converted..I think that is the first time using it...yikes ;D..it took two yrs.....but I think I will stick with "supervisor" as I have not come across anyone in the Air Force I would consider my "superior" as far as leadership goes...yet...I am hopfull!
I am an ex-grunt who is now Air Force and I miss the Army everyday!!!! :crybaby: Since it was a medical remuster, I do not think I will go back to the mother ship!! The Air Force has different R & Os with respect to the way it does things, having said that it shouldn't! We are suppose to be...
It has been two years out of the Regiment and I miss Regimental Day. The best game of broom-a-loo was in Bosnia 00 when they brought us in from all over the AOR to play other Regiments.....a few injuries that day!
March 17 will never be St-Patricks-Day....it is REGIMENTAL DAY!!!!
Happy...
