I'm probably wrong, but doesn't the CAF refund some 13,000 salaries each FY for the amount of RegF positions we are short? Or does TB get their sticky mitts on it before it arrives in DND coffers?
I'm a L2 HQ working on behalf of a unit. I'm sure it has to go to L1 for funds transfer. I'm not au fait with the FAM so working in the grey here.
So recommended COA is to ask my L1 for additional C127? The issue is that not only did we get our full allocation of C127, we received an additional...
Do you know where the funds came from? I recently did this and VCDS O&E approved the 1 year class B, but the funds came out of my own C127 & will be reported as a pressure end-FY.
Situation:
RegF unit has shortfall of RegF pers.
D Mil C has no plans to post RegF into vacant position
PRes mbr available to backfill vacant position
L2 PRes HQ does not have sufficient C127 funds to pay 1-yr Cl B
PRes unit overspent last FY and is already reporting significant pressures this...
Mike, on our tour I had to send at least one Cl C (a Capt SW) home early due to him being at risk of "parading" 365 days straight. That caught me and the rest of the CofC completely off guard.
I don't have the refs, but I believe it is TB that states 1-day break, and the CAF flinch factor is 35...
It is a crop - from one of these photos (which may be the same tank in both). There are other photos from what appears to be the same set of Centurions without the pennant. If it was C/S 2 or 21, 22 etc, then I'd be inclined to guess some kind of commander / leader identifier. But C/S 23B is...
Additional info on the tank:
The CFR 51 81358, tank name on the sideskirt is BALTIC II, which is c/s 23B in the LdSH(RC) (B Sqn 3 Tp) , so this would jive with 1966-68 timeframe.
Fellas, my google has failed. I'm looking for the significance of this pennant stenciled on a the turret bin of a Canadian Centurion tank. Timeframe c1966 may put it as a LdSH(RC) tank supporting 2 Div (UK), BAOR, although it may be a 4 CMBG tank if the NDIL info inaccurate.
Considering WW2...
