Wear what you have now. Once you arrive to holding troop, you will be taken around base to get cleared in and such. During this time, when you clear into the J-7 QM, you will receive your armoured school cap badge. However, they will make you buy a black armored beret if you don't already have...

0802 is starting up on March 19th. I believe another course in Petawawa is starting in April sometime? And another one in Gagetown in June.

Did you two plan on getting onto the same BMQ course when you first applied? I'm not so sure if that's possible or not....

The merit list isn't anything to get too excited about. When they say they put you on the merit list, it pretty much means that you are on a list of candidates based on your past experience, education, CFAT scores, etc. in comparison with other people in those fields.

I was at the CANEX in Edmonton the other day, and all they had were 1 in each pack (no 3 to a pack). They all had different combinations. In terms of the 3 different locks with different combinations, I think I am going to label each one (i.e.: #1, #2, #3, with the one I use the most as #1 ...

Who knows. Maybe we'll find out that it's the exact opposite? My hopes aren't up though, haha.

I asked the same question to a former instructor. What they suggested to do was catch up on sleep since it will help you get through the next week.

Yeah I guess that is true. Right now I have 3 combination locks with 3 different combinations. I guess this will have to do me until an instructor hallers at me, if it happens.

I have a question regarding certain gear being brough to BMQ. My kit list in the joining instructions says to bring 3 combination locks to BMQ. However, I read somewheres else that these locks all have to have the same combination and that this combination must be given to the course...

Unfortunately, my service number has no 0's. That would be pretty awesome if it did.
